The domain of Suduiraut extends on 500 acres of woods and meadows, in addition to 200 acres of vineyards.
The history of the domain brings us back in 1592 when Leonard de Suduiraut, born in the Limousin and Parlement adviser in Bordeaux, marries Nicole d’Allard bringing along the domain as her dowry. The mansion was looted, devastated and burned down in 1648 and 1649, during the Fronde rebellion. Blaise de Suduiraut built the castle on the ruins of the Allard mansion between 1655 and 1675. It is representative of the Louis XIV style.
