I have been running seminars for board members, chief and senior executives throughout Europe for over twenty years.
During the course of my business life, the thing that has always stuck me the most, is that neither the venues, nor the services provided in hotels, are designed to cater for the specific needs of seminars and meetings. Sometimes it may be that the meeting rooms are uncomfortable or badly equipped, or that the entire venue itself is unsuitable. Frequently, the premises are too large and participants rapidly feel lost as they drift amongst other groups of businessmen, weddings and holiday-makers. There is rarely an opportunity of enjoying the leisure of anextended break to split the working day, either due to the lack of possible activities, or simply because there is nowhere to go for a quiet chat, to relax and get to know one another better.
Mealtimes also tend to be too long, the food too heavy, served seated and generally ill adapted to the circumstances. These are the reasons which lead me to create Châteauform’.
