Originally, le Château de la Princesse was a very simple building erected under Louis XV with a clock fronted pediment. It is said that an owner had it built as a gift to his beloved daughter, who, despite being of bourgeois descent, was to be affectionately known as the « Princess ». In 1871, the château was extended by a pupil of Viollet-le-Duc, who added the romantic touch taught by his master. This château has some very nice rooms including an orangery, situated in the heart of the château, which is magic for your cocktails, aperitifs…
