Chaubuisson Farm, of the Marquis of Mun. It was under Louis XIII that Jean Bazin, a Municipal Magistrate from Paris, granted a special seigneury as a dowry to his daughter Anne, on the occasion of her marriage in 1635 to Jean de Loynes, an Accounts Controller. Upon his death, the widow remained Lady of Chaubuisson. Under Louis XVI, this land still belonged to Marie Adélaïde de Loynes, married to François Auguste, the Clerk of the Motte, Captain of the Infantry. It is on this land, just near the Castle of Vaux le Vicomte, one of the most sumptuous of the XVII, frequented by La Fontaine, Molière and Madame de Sévigné, that The Manor was built in 1893.
