This majestic château was built during the reign of Louis XV, in the style of a medieval fortress, of which the grand vaulted “guards’ room” still remains today. A century later, Viollet-le-Duc reconstructed the building, introducing some rudimentary comfort and adding a stylistic touch. Today, this former jewel of the Royal Domain provides breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside. “The Fortress” will offer 44 bedrooms, and its guests will be able to benefit from some outstanding facilities in terms of quality and diversity.
